Discovery Flight
Are you thinking about becoming a pilot for your own pleasure, enjoyment, or a way to travel for your business? Maybe a career as a professional pilot crossed your mind?
Keep in mind that an aviation career is dynamic and offers a wide array of roles, demanding high levels of skill, dedication, and responsibility. It encompasses much more than just being a pilot, offering diverse paths in technical, management, and operational fields.
Here are some of the career paths in aviation. Many don’t require you to be a pilot but it would greatly benefit you if you had experience and knowledge acquired as a basic-level pilot, placing you a level above others in the same field.
- Airline pilot
- Corporate/Charter pilot
- Cargo pilot
- Flight instructor
- Law enforcement
- Aerial survey
- Flight attendant
- Aircraft maintenance
- Avionics technician
- Aerospace engineer
- Aviation software engineer
- Air traffic controller
- Airport/Aviation manager
- … and many more
A large number of pilots fly for pleasure, and don’t go beyond the initial certification (Private or Sport pilot).
Talk to us about what you have in mind. Try our Discovery Flight to experience flying in order to help you with your decision. The cost is aircraft rental for 1 hour. It is an introductory, hands-on flying session with a certified flight instructor. You will perform:
- Pre-flight briefing to go over flight plan, weather, and learn about aircraft controls
- Pre-flight safety check to inspect the aircraft
- Actual flight with you in the pilot’s seat. You will have the opportunity to fly… with guidance from your instructor, of course. You will experience maneuvers like climbing, descending, turning, and may even land the aircraft.
- Post-flight debriefing to discuss your experience and ask any questions about the flight and training.
HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
